Great location,very nice view withe merdeka Tower at pool. Nice interior room, clean, comfortable. Facilities complete . Recommend for stay .

The room was really old and so small. There is no place to put your luggages. Cleaning wasnt good enough. Towels weren’t clean. Even coffee machine’s water tank was in a terrible condition. The cleaning staff never renew coffee, tea, towels and so on. They did it after we asked about it. Furniture, curtains, shower equipments all should be modified and renovated. The sink in lavatory drains it on the furniture. There is no enough pressure on it and so uncomfortable to wash your hands. There is no shampoo or gel in the shower. Only a hand soap gel and you have to wash with it. The only things I could say positive about the accommodation are the friendly reception staff and location. There are really nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Also it is easy to get metro station which is steps away. As a result, the hotel isnt worth for its price. Really too old.

The Cabin was very old and dated and needs upgrading badly. Staff were great though.

Clean room. There was a fan in the bathroom. The staff was nice. Even with the freezing temperatures, we had a very nice stay. The only questionable thing for me was the TP quality.

It was a very nice and modern hotel with a large room and comfortable bed. The use of the spa was complimentary with the room and we were very impressed. There is a bar and restaurant onsite and although service at times was slow (but it was busy) the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only downside was that there was no hairdryer but other than that all that was provided was very good.

So this is a Backpackers place and while clean the place is a little run down. I do. Believe the owners try hard but maybe its past there capabilities. The room shower are very very basic and no soap. There is quite a good kitcben on. Site. I am. Surprised that they charge so. Much for the rooms. But there u go it's probably cheap for Picton. The walk from the ferry is about 15 minutes. Overall OK but basic

Toilet was divided from bedroom only with the curtain (not with door). While other guests could have breakfast outside in garden, I was told by the owner I am not allowed to as I was part of the group and it would confuse her (I was the only lady,all other participants of the group were males so quite easy to distinguish). Inside was not one single chair free so I gave up breakfast not to instigate issues, although later I was approached by owner that now inside space became available. Breakfast in garden was still not an option for me although German couple had breakfast in garden and owner asked them if they enjoy it. I rather gave up the second night of accommodation and moved elsewhere where I felt much more welcomed. To be fair, the position of the guesthouse is convenient and they have nice braai facility at R 50 pp. But I personally will not return
