Peaceful, hillside retreat We stayed 4 nights in Villa7 at Glenross. The villas are set into the hillside with great views over the valley below. The standard of finish to the villa was exceptional, with an extremely large bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a lounge (a/c’d), sitting and sunbathing area and pool on the lower floor. All very well presented. The highlights of our stay were the yoga classes, massages and walking available to us. The yoga classes were lead by Sara, a wonderful traditional Hatha yoga instructor, who had a beautiful way of describing what we needed to do, in a traditional yoga way. Certainly not the gym yoga we get back home. This was a highlight for us. We both had massages by Seri, who was really good at delivering the right level of pressure for what we both required. We found our own way around the estate and out of it. If you don’t fancy that a guide is available, for a fee, but we decided to explore for ourselves. If you’re confident this was relatively easy, however a map of the estate would have been helpful. We also walked into the nearby village for an alternative morning walk. The food was exceptional, the chef knew exactly how to cook fish, however the service could be a little slow at times. The resort wasn’t full and I wonder how the service may have fared if it had been full. Overall, highly rated, perfect for relaxation and a real treat to be exposed to traditional Hatha yoga again.

The hotel was excellent. Drinks in the bar were good with great views out to sea. Dinner menu was very good. The seafood fettuccine was lovely. The room was spacious and very clean however for a 5 star hotel we were surprised to find there were no complimentary bottles of water in the room. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much that we decided to pay for breakfast the following morning. There was the usual selection of breakfast options that you'd expect to find. The bircher muesli was particularly good. We were a little disappointed to find coffee was served from an urn and not from a dedicated coffee machine. However if you wanted to pay extra at the bar you could order a decent coffee.

Great location, rooms are beautifully decorated, Good swimming pool. Downside was dust in the rooms and dirty kitchen utensils which was pointed out to the reception. Overall great experience

A thoughtfully curated and peaceful resort set amongst serene nature. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. Has everything needed for a comfortable and rejuvenating stay. My only wish is that I stayed there for more than one night to make the most of all the facilities!

This is our third visit to this hotel & it will definitely not be our last. I dare say there are many 5 star hotels in Austria but I think you’d be hard pushed to find one better than the Posthotel in Achensee. We were truly blown away by the food. The team are so incredibly talented, combined with the quality & variety on offer - every meal was a delight. The staff are excellent - from those on reception, to those in the kitchens, those serving guests & those servicing the rooms. All friendly & efficient. The facilities are too many to mention but again, the standards are on another level. Although it’s a family run hotel, it’s also a delight that it is Adults Only. We’ve visited Austria over 40 times over the years & stayed in many lovely hotels but this one is by far the BEST !

Un peu dé?u cette fois si, la salle de bains avait la fixation de la douche défaite, le porte savon liquide tenais plus, et les serviettes sont toujours aussi petite et ce mouille trop vite. Il manque une vitre coulissante sur la parois de douche, il faut donc soit s’assoir ou ce mettre complètement dans l’angle pour éviter de créer une piscine. Sinon le personnel toujours aussi agréable et le service du restaurant très bon et copieux.

Others staying seemed to be business people. We had a lovely stay and everything was very comfortable, very clean and good also good. A good hotel Picture not immediately taken so it looked better than this. Many pics hotels provide sum to be AI modified but these were genuine

Friendly staff. Monday thru Wednesday is social hour and you get to meet different people. Enjoy some food and drinks.

This stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional. However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth! I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!
