Very friendly and helpful staff. Plumbing quite noisy, but value for money stay, good continental breakfast

We have stayed here before and have always been impressed .This time though we were put in a different room no 208 and the room was shabby and the mattress was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs and the mattress dipped. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay the receptionist was helpful and informed us of ?all the facilities in the hotel . Breakfast was delicious as always ?and the location is really quiet.

Very accommodating

The complex is owned by Eric, a charming and helpful host. It is secluded, situated near the top of a hill, about a half an hour walk from the town. It is comprised of four self-catering style 'bungalows' beautifully appointed, providng bedroom are, open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, modern bathroom (shower only) and separate toilet. Each residence has a private patio where you can enjoy meals. There is a stunning swimming pool area, ideal for sunbathers, and is where the restaurant/barbecue is situated. A charming garden area is a lovely addition. It is worth checking when the 'season' starts, as the Pool and restaurant are closed the rest of the year. However, Eric will supply breakfast

Lovely clean rooms, rooftop pool and the staff were really accommodating, when we asked for drinks to be made, they made us cocktails whenever we wanted. Gave us recommendations. Really cool place, with steel structure and very close to all the restaurants and the beach.

Good on site parking, some under cover. Very close to all the amenities of Maitland. We were there for a wedding and the room was so well lit, equipped with full length mirrors and ironing board. Made it easy to get ready.

We had a week at Crystal Cove at the beginning of May. We had read some poor reviews before we left, people complaining about the poor quality of the food / service and were a bit worried. We didn't have to be. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived and throughout the holiday. The hotel and rooms were great, even when our shower wasn't working properly, it was fixed within hours of it being reported, Friendly restaurant and bar staff and all through the resort. Yes, the food isn't Michelin star level, but we weren't staying at a Michelin starred hotel! There was a good variety of well cooked, tasty food. The counters weren't always brimming with food, but there was enough option and volume for the number of guest, limiting waste! The A la Carte menu evenings were great.
