We chose to stay here due to the Great location and easy walking distance to Shrewsbury, and off road parking the room was very nicely decorated, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was a nice size. We'd booked for two nights but only stayed for one, we found it difficult to sleep due to the noise from other rooms there's no soundproofing we could hear the people above walking around going to the loo and going up and down the stairs until past 2am so I would definitely recommend bringing ear plugs., the little extras in the room were lovely crisps, biscuits,tea and coffee and also netflix and WiFi were great. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Shrewsbury.

Приятно удивило: изысканный интерьер, внимательный персонал, вкусные и нестандартные завтраки- пьёшь чай и смотришь на пейзажи Санкт-Петербурга - это полное погружение в культуру и историю города. В следующий раз обязательно останавлюсь в этом уютном отеле в центре! Виктория.

Great location, great comfort. Extremely clean. Amazing place. The views were amazing. Nothing negative to say!

We visited The West Port for Dinner after hearing it had had an upgrade. We were regulars from out with the Linlithgow area in years gone by. We walked through the door and it was cosy and warm on a very cold night. Roaring Fire and welcoming staff. That's the good part over! Kimberly and Hayley were nice mind you. We had a small starter to share as a wee appetiser. Followed by Large Fish and Chips, Steak Pie and a Cajun Chicken Burger. My son enjoyed the Chicken Burger! However, the Large Fish Supper should have came with a Steak Knife. The Batter had set like Mortar and was unchewable "it's our gluten free batter, it's advertised all over social media". My fish was nice but incredibly difficult to eat. The petit pois were disgusting and tasteless. I suspect all the Fish, chips and peas were Frozen. My partner had the Steak pie and could barely eat the steak as it was so chewy and undercooked. The Steak Pie comes in a Suet pastry casing and is baked hard. Again, I suspect not much COOKING going on as it was clearly a Frozen item. Suet Pastry casings on Steak Pie is not a Scottish thing. I complained to my server but did not want to spoil our family meal and persisted with the fish as no alternative was offered. When I brought up the issue on payment of our bill I was told no discount would be applied "you ate the Fish". After speaking to the Manager I was discounted 20% off of my Bill. Great Environment for a wee Drink. Food Poor. Chef needs a visit from Gordon...

The room and the bathroom are extremely small. The toilet smells like sewage. The swimming pool is overcrowded and the water is not really clean. There is no staff, no reception. The security guard of the building just kept being rude and one of them tried to sell us a taxi when he saw us looking for a Grab, I was also standing in the building waiting for a taxi and the security guard told me I can't stand there while other people were doing it all the time. No coffee, tea or water in the room. The gym allows up to 7 people but all day is full of people, even more than 7. Most gym equipment is broken. Worst hotel experience ever. AVOID.

I’ve stayed here many times on business. A lovely vibe, excellent food, cracking selection of beers and excellent rooms. Nothing more to say than I’ll be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at The Stump in the Cotswolds. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The accommodation was brilliant, comfortable, clean, and finished to a high standard. The food was absolutely great, with a wonderful atmosphere to match. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. We would definitely recommend The Stump to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Cotswolds!

Struttura curata nei minimi dettagli arredata con grande gusto. Tanto colore e camere “buffe” molto accoglienti. Una colazione eccellente l’ho fatta con prodotti di altissima qualità. Non posso che consigliarlo anche per una vacanza. Comodissimo il parcheggio sotto la struttura
