February 2026 Honest review: Reception & Arrival: All staff and service absolutely spot on and no argument. Room: Odd, strange colour scheme, fridge doesn’t work “doesn’t cool” and no replenishment on AI. In 7 days, even our milk for coffee has only been replenished twice, Our shower is broke and the toilet flush is terrible. The lifts are regularly out of order also. View: We’re on the top floor and I would explain it as the best worst sea view I’ve ever stayed in. Looking at abject poverty every night is not my idea of a vacation. The shanty town in front of the resort spoils the view and the feeling of the resort completely. This isn’t their fault although people should know. Food: Lunch is Repetitive, although of high quality, lunch is the same every day. The evening meals, I believe the ala carte should be included on AI for evening meals as many times as you want for the money you pay, compared to other offerings near by in better locations. Overall my feeling is the drinks are cheap & of low quality both wine and cocktails, honestly the worst I’ve had to the point I’ve bought our own drinks off site. The wine list, particularly for club and AI needs to be far more extensive considering the canaries have fantastic local wines and the wine on offer is of poor taste and the cocktails are very inconsistent. On the whole, we won’t be returning as the quality compared to cost, offering and location aren’t there. Excellent gym although no Spa facilities.

Unbelievable location right next to High street Kensington and convenience of local stores. The rate is very modest for London in this locality. Facilities were good and service was excellent. Hard to ask any more from this hotel in this price point

A very uncomfortable stay. The bathroom looks really old and has not been upgraded in a while which made me not enjoy my stay enough. The overall cleanliness of the room was not up to scratch. I would not visit again.

I was on a business trip for 2 nights. It was a price / performance choice for me, which indeed was generally OK. The main problem was wi-fi. Even in the lobby, the connection was worse than bad. Consider it there is no wi-fi. The breakfast was good. The personnel was good. Bathrooms and toilets are small (this is common in UK)

Great room on top floor, really quirky, lovely minibar and snack selection plus free water and choc bars- theyve thought of everything- there is a hairdryer , bathrobes, toiletries- great bar/Restuarant area and the staff were superb (big thanks to Adam ) will dev stay again

Thank you for accommodating my request for a higher floor. However, I arrived at the hotel around 3:55 pm, and the check-in time is after 2 pm. There was a long queue at both counters, and I waited 30 minutes to check in. I’m not sure if this is standard procedure or if the check-in process needs improvement. I also noticed that the room door was cracked and there was no swing bar lock. I’m not sure if this is the original design or if it’s been damaged.
