Lovely hotel really clean and modern and across the road from a shopping centre. The downfalls we’ve they had fish in the breakfast and we don’t eat fish so was limited to toast. Also no internet in the room and the tv didn’t work

房间很乾净，前台小姐姐还贴心送了两份早餐，去吃早餐的时间洗好了衣服，下次再来。

This is a decent hotel with all the basics. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and well supplied. We found the hotel quiet. The buffet breakfast was good. We didn’t use the pool or fitness centre so can’t comment on those.

在香格里拉住到性价比超高的一家民俗！房间非常有设计感，距离古城东门也很近，可以步行到达 服务：前台很热情，有接送站服务，我们续住的时候还帮我们升级了房型，晚上发烧前台也有提供体温计和血氧仪 衞生：衞生乾净，房间很新 环境：环境很好，顶楼的天台还能看星星 设施：有加湿器，制氧机，大投影也很不错

we didn't stay but went for a birthday meal. The service was average. We ordered our meals and 1 person asked for peas and carrots instead of broccoli and mange tout as they didn't like mange tout. The meals all came with peas only, when asked about the carrots we were told there wasn't any, the person having the broccoli and mange tout only got broccoli ( which had to be sent back as it was freezing) - there was no mange tout.!!!! service was slow and the waitress not very communicative - weren't told soup of the day or the cheesecake of the day. One person asked for coffee and was later told 'sorry we have run out of coffee beans! I think that the machine had been switched off for the night and they couldn't be bothered switching it back on! Food was ok despite their claim 'While we don’t take ourselves too seriously at The Bal, we do take what goes on our plates very seriously indeed. Our Chef, Elaine Crosby, produces food that satisfies the eye, palate and wallet - all freshly cooked to order. So, if you’re looking for proper pub grub done with proper care, consideration and flair, you’ll know to book at The Balcomie.

Excellent service

Lovely hotel, reception staff `Robin` was very welcoming on our arrival and explained where everything was. Rooms are modern, spacious and have everything you need, a very comfortable Kingsize bed meant a great nights sleep. I was surprised how quiet the room was as it is by a main road but there was no traffic noise. Breakfast choices good and cooked items of good quality, will be back next time we are in the area. Thank you.

Not much to complain about the host clearly thought about everything and paid attention to even the small details. The location was amazing, and the apartment was surprisingly spacious for the area. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. I rarely leave reviews, but since this is a new property, I felt it deserved one. The owner was extremely helpful and made sure everything was sorted. I had some issues with the webpage during check-in, and he personally contacted me to make sure I got in without any problems.
