The room was in excellent condition, however you need to request room cleaning 24 hours in advance. It took them 48 additional hours to come to our room to clean it and to adjust the thermostat which was blasting heat out very high. The coffee shop is cute and delicious, however not enough employees. The entire resort is under construction now. I had book a reservation in the outdoor igloo and inside the restaurant for 2 different dinners while I was staying for a week. They called and cancelled at the last minute because of the construction, but I wish I had known sooner. All in all it was a good stay, and I'm sure these kinks will be worked out after construction is finished.

It was perfectly acceptable. Clean. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Had the required amenities. Very quiet inside the room. The assortment of charging plugs was astounding.

Low season and still excellent. Wonderful service. Particularly good supper at the restaurant on our first night. higHly recommended

As always the rooms are spotless and very comfy and welcoming - the staff are amazing , warm and friendly and will always go out of their way to assist as much as possible with any requests.

Room is perfect. My only complaint is that they ran out of the salty breakfast option, which I believe should have been available for all guests.

A 5 star hotel in every way. But what makes it stand out is every single member of staff for their service and genuine friendliness.

Staff kind and helpful. Hooks not securely fastened to wall in bathroom. Mini fridge VERY loud. Lots of stains on upholstery in lobby. Overall kind of a dingy feel. Affordable and well located.

I usually stay here and the room is good for the price. I can’t expect more at this rate. However, this time the room had a bad smell and there were bugs. I informed the reception and asked to change rooms, but they ignored my request and said the hotel was fully booked. I was quite disappointed with this experience.

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Suite and thought it was absolutely lovely. Although the room isn’t located within the pub itself, it sits just across the road, tucked away behind the building, which made it wonderfully quiet and very private. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we were delighted to find that the suite included its own lounge and a gorgeous bathroom on the ground floor, with stairs leading up to the main bedroom. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. When we arrived, there had been a heavy downpour and, because the window had been left open for ventilation, the carpet and bed linen had unfortunately become wet. The team responded immediately, resolved the issue quickly, and even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine as an apology. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked with high?quality ingredients. The Wykeham Arms is perfectly situated in the heart of Winchester, making it easy to explore the city on foot. All in all, a five?star stay. We’ll definitely be returning.
