Great place for a break. We have stayed on numerous occasions

good proximity to royal mile n other tourist attractions well equipped with cooking utensils. ?washing machine was very loud so we had to turn it on when we leave in the morning. ?the oven is less useful to us than a microwave but overall we r pleased.

The hotel doesn't have parking. We had to park in the city parking lot and pay the meter. It wasn't a big deal since it's right across the street from the hotel. Check-in was very nice. Giovanni, the receptionist, was very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working in the entire building!!! The room was incredibly hot. We opened the window, and mosquitoes invaded the room because the screen had a large hole. Giovanni, was very kind and managed to get us a small fan, which, to be honest, made more noise than it did any relief from the heat. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options and the waiters were very attentive.

second time i have stayed here. booked three weeks in advance to gain best price per night of the rooms. If you just want somewhere to sleep and wash, then these rooms are perfect. the wifi is appalling in the building. full bar on my phone outside the front door but when in the room, i had hardly any wifi through my own network and the hotel wifi was not much better. I have suggested for some form of fold up desk/table in the rooms but no response to that yet. You cannot work on a laptop in your room. you be sat on the bed with the laptop on your lap. it was painful in the back and neck. You can go downstairs in the cafe if you want but i like to be in my room.

the breakfast limited and very greasy, bar closed at 8pm so was not used

El servicio del personal de la recepción fue bastante bueno, nos ofrecieron una opción alternativa para poder estacionar nuestro auto ya que el lugar original estaba saturado y no había acceso.

From smelly hallways, to super outdated rooms, still with super dirty rugs, doors that dont even close… staff very unpleasant. Had to ask for a paid upgrade. Looks like property never been renewed… Shower was dirty, shower curtains mold (in upgraded room yjat cost extra$50 dollars). Beds were very very uncomftabke… It looks that never been renewed Only thing 10/10 is pool.
