The natural mineral baths from the hot springs are amazing. The setting is like nothing you will experience anywhere else. The jungle envelops you as the mineral waters heals you. We spent 6 nights. My advice is to spend 3 nights arriving on Monday. Avoid weekends and public holidays at all cost. Bungalows are worth the money. On your first day have a sound bath treatment. The onsen is fabulous and you can ask for a time alone in the area. As for the massage treatments just enjoy what you get. You will not receive anything similar to the written treatment that you choose off their list. Yoga is the same . The wellness offers Yin, restorative, kundalini and just yoga. All taught by same teacher and none of the classes had anything to do with the style advertise. The swimming pool is also wonderful and calming. You can go to the public swimming pool area and purchase water and snack for a fraction of what the wellness center sells them for. Breakfast is ample and I would advise filling up and avoiding the restaurant for other meals. DO NOT TAKE TOURS OFFERED BY ALBA WELLNESS THEY ARE OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY YOU RECEIVE.Alba wellness is a gem if you look hard enough and lower your standard.
