Limpia y buena atención pero muy chica, se siente todo apretado.

Very good quiet hotel with spacious rooms and good and plentiful food. The staff were very friendly - the bar is a bit soulless but plenty of good alternatives nearby! Would thoroughly recommend the place.

酒店进门需要通过一个非常狭小的门，然后解锁门锁，再走楼梯上两层楼。通过访问连结解锁门锁确实挺酷的，但是当网络连接不好，在门口等着的时候可就不那么有趣了。提着行李上两层楼也很痛苦。进了门后装修相当不错，但是粉尘很多，我和我的同行人一直在咳嗽。热水系统有些问题，洗一会就只有冷水了。早餐这家bnb准备了两张7欧元的ticket去一家高档餐厅，这家餐厅的三文鱼三明治很不错，但是ticket完全不够在这家餐厅用一顿正常的早餐。这家bnb退房时间是严格的10点，下订要注意，错过时间会被关在里面。 总体来説，并不建议住在这里。

We were very excited to be told we had an upgrade. On arriving after our night out, we learned our included breakfast was a pack that should have been in our room on arrival. The bin was not emptied from the previous people the fridge door was broken so nothing was cold especially the milk, the tap in the bathroom was broken. Our top sheet was clean, but it had a dried bit of what looked like biscuit pressed in it. (We turned the sheet around so we could sleep better). In the morning the view was great, but the windows were pretty dirty. When told downstairs the next morning, they just said we should have called them, but 11.30 at night just wanted to sleep.? On a positive the staff at reception were excellent

We stayed at the Pestana Miramar half board for two weeks at the end of January and the beginning of February 2026. The hotel is in a lovely old building with plenty of trees and greenery around it and we found the location to be perfect for us (close enough to Funchal to walk in but not too close to be noisy). The staff that we dealt with were all very helpful and friendly and the available facilities were good. The meals were in buffet form and there did seem to be a bit of repetition with regards to the vegetables and salads (although we recognise that it’s not easy to cater for such large numbers of people). We did find the room to be rather tired, with cupboard doors loose and mould in the bathroom, although when we raised the mould with housekeeping they did clean it straight away). We have heard that the hotel is due to be refurbished imminently so expect the rooms to be much better afterwards. We did enjoy our holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again (after the refurb)
