Bachofer is a really cute little hotel in Waiblingen, connected to an equally nice restaurant. My husband and I had the good fortune to stay there for four nights. We really enjoyed our stay, as well as the excellent Asian fusion restaurant. Our room was mostly comfortable, clean, and very convenient. The staff was friendly, and we especially appreciated the Stubli for its free snacks and honesty bar for beer and wine. We also enjoyed all three of the three cafes where breakfast is served, if one doesn't want cereal from the Stubli. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like daily gummi bears and ear plugs (which we didn't need to use). Parking is also convenient at the local garage. I have three minor complaints about Bachofer that I think can be easily fixed. First, on a couple of days, the housekeeping staff didn't leave an extra roll of toilet paper. We only had what was on the spool. I get a little paranoid about having enough toilet paper, so this was something I noticed. My husband ended up buying some one morning. I think the housekeepers noticed, because they left a lot of toilet paper on our last day! Second, neither my husband nor I could never get the shower very hot. That was disappointing, because the shower was a big rainfall type that looked inviting, but even when I turned the water on and let it run with the tap turned all the way to what should have been the hottest level, it never got beyond just basically warm. And finally, one of the outlets near the desk didn't seem to work properly. I ended up using a different outlet for plugging in my computer. We probably should have said something, and I'm sorry we didn't. None of these issues were really serious, but they did stop me from leaving five stars. I would happily visit the Bachofer again, though, and I would absolutely recommend it to other travelers who are lucky enough to visit charming Waiblingen. And I would absolutely recommend the restaurant, too! Thanks for a great stay!

Good location in quiet residential area. Nice modern, clean room. Great pub/restaurant with good food & atmosphere. Breakfast was cooked to order, with self service station for cereal, ou dog was made very welcome toohiyceetc juicecerals

It’s a comfortable and friendly hotel, with a nice bar and restaurant.

This used to be a high end hotel but not anymore. ?You still pay the large price but don’t expect anything not even a bottle of water in your room. Location is not very convenient especially if you get caught by a passing train.

Doesn't look much from the outside but wow inside is amazing. Room gorgeous and clean bed soooo comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful will definitely be staying again. Didn't use the spa facilities or bar and restaurant but will on next visit
