Logement plut?t isolé de la grande civilisation ce qui était tout à fait notre objectif. H?te très sympathique et qui se donne vraiment la peine pour ravir ses convives: repas du soir (entrée,plat,fromage et dessert) à un pris plus que correct et avec des produits bio et locaux voir même de sa propre production ! Déjeuné royal avec pain toasté et diverses confitures maison qui étaient délicieuses. Merci encore!

Whenever we're in the area, we always try to stay here. The rooms are awesome, always clean, comfortable beds, staff is great & we always enjoy the breakfasts (there is quite a bit to choose from....hot & cold....and they're good about keeping it well stocked). There's tons of parking & it's in a safe/beautiful area.

A good experience, nice and very clean place. Food was plenty and good diversity. Activities during the day can be improved but i think this was because the season just started. The personnel staff very nice and helpful.

Endroit atypique avec une belle décoration et une librairie hors du commun ??

The room was not well cleaned and some of the staff were really rude. It was late and I didn't want to move rooms so I just wiped the bathroom floor with a towel cause it looked bad and it was really dirty. Then, a few long dark hairs in the bed. Plus the elevator was out, and apparently had been for weeks, and it didn't seem far at all to staff to have them carrying people's luggage up to the third floor.

A historic home with a fabulous collection of collections in the parlor, dining room and living room. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and have period furnishings and comfortable bed and sitting area. The stained glass and woodwork in the home is wonderful. We especially loved the seating nook with circular moulding around it- gorgeous. A menu is provided for breakfast ahead of time so guests can choose their options. The gracious host serves breakfast. The exterior of the home is getting a completely new paint job - can’t wait to see the new colors! This is a place to stay for a memorable and comfortable visit with a nod to the 1880’s. Fort Plain has a setting of the early days of Upstate New York and there are several good eateries within walking distance We would definitely revisit this Bed and Breakfast
