The room was clean and a good size, comfortable beds and good air conditioning. I thought it could do with a couple of comfortable chairs and the remote didn’t work for the TV probably only needed new batteries

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sopa. The entire experience was unforgettable, surrounded by beautiful nature and incredibly welcoming people. A very special thank you goes to our housekeeper Anthony, who made our stay even more special with his breathtaking towel creations every day. His creativity always brought a smile to our faces. But even more importantly, he was not only friendly and attentive, but genuinely warm-hearted and kind. His positive energy and care made us feel completely at home. But also all other staff members were truly amazing! Thank you for such a beautiful and memorable experience!

First the good bits: the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean with decent air-conditioning and reasonable showers. Rooms facing the pool much better than those overlooking the noisy street. The pool is large and clean and the old chap who looks after the cabana containing the towels is friendly and helpful making sure your umbrella gives you the right amount of shade. It’s in a location surrounded by restaurants which is good because the restaurant experience in the hotel is poor. The food is actually okay although they frequently don’t have everything on the menu and the service in the restaurant is dismissive at Best. The staff are completely disinterested, one even took our drinks order then went off and did some admin for 10 minutes before bothering to come back and make a drink for us. They don’t bother answering the phone for room service so don’t think you can get anything delivered. In fact I’m pretty sure they let the phone ring for a bit and then put it down. After an initial attempt at eating there, we went out and experienced local restaurants where the service was much better. We are not novices in Madagascar having spent eight weeks travelling around and I can catch correctly say, it is the worst service of any anyway that we have stayed. Such a shame. I’ve given them a three because of the cleanliness and the facilities but if I was rating service, it would be a one. Stay here by all means but don’t bother asking them to provide any services.

We stayed on the second floor in room 2416 and took the elevator to the second floor, walked to the farthest end of the hallway and then had to go down two flights of stairs with our luggage. When we arrived at the second 2nd floor we again had to walk all the way back. Floor is carpeted and the carpet is buckling and there are tripping hazards every ten yards. Just seemed very tired and although clean, lacking maintenance. My wife and I would not return.

Our king spa room was very spacious and the spa a lovely treat after enjoying the walks around the town. Owners were very welcoming and had lots of local knowledge. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

?Qué espectaculares son las vistas! Tanto desde la habitación como desde el comedor, el paisaje te hipnotiza desde el primer momento. En ese sentido, creo que es el mejor parador en que he estado. Las habitaciones también son bastante buenas, sin llegar a ser excelentes. El se desayuno buffet es variado y de buena calidad, con productos locales, como es política de estos establecimientos. El restaurante también es bastante bueno. Cenamos 2 noches y ambas pedimos cosas diferentes. Lo que más nos gustó fue el solomillo de ternera, aunque el resto de platos estuvieron a un buen nivel. La atención de todo el personal es muy amable, y sorprendentemente rápida en el comedor y el desayuno. El parking exterior es gratuito y dispone de 6 puntos de recarga de pago para coches eléctricos a 11kwh. Muy contentos de haber elegido este Parador para nuestra estancia en el valle de Arán.
