It was mostly fine. The room was comfy. But - - the hotel didn’t respond to messages in advance - it’s basically a noisy sports pub - beds are firm - funny smell in one of the rooms - not like the room pictured. Generally it was OK. But prob wouldn’t return.

Really nice home cooked roast lunch/pies in a "proper" pub. The pub is 16th century, thus fairly small, and by it's nature pretty noisy when full (as it was on our visit - Sunday 8th Feb). They also have a couple of additional areas in conservatory like buildings. All of this is fine, but led to the first minor problem - the service is slow; not food arriving once ordered, but big gaps between courses, because the staff are elsewhere in the pub. When we paid the bill it was vastly incorrect, having several items we didn't order, to be fair this was sorted out quickly. In summery, the food is excellent, the setting is perfect, staff are very helpful - just they need to keep a closer eye on customers seated away from the main bar area. Would we go back - yes, beyond doubt.

We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. The radiator also didn’t work for the whole duration for the stay and as it was a rainy day we struggled having no heating or hot water. Half way through getting ready to go out on the second night the electricity went out and we were in total darkness. We were given an apology and was told one nights stay would be refunded, they then only sent the money for half of that night and have been ignoring all correspondence since.

Clean tidy in a great area location brilliant lovely little stay

A very simple and basic boutique hotel which is well located in central Belfast.

Stayed here to go to Beamish Museum, easy check in, spotless room with everything we need & staff are exceptionally friendly, including Dave during breakfast time.

Very nice hospitality. Over all was good .
