Staff were amazing, the only issues were around the food and late night noise. Morning breakfast didn't have much variety. At night they have entertainment which can be very loud, this could be rectified by using sound absorbing materials in the main atrium. One little note which would improve the rooms would be a n information leaflet containing important information such as Buffet opening times, things to do, phone numbers Etc. We WILL be staying here again.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant food wss excellent. A free courtesy bus is provided on weekdays to take you to and from the town centre.

Hope they clean the floors thoroughly.

?????????? A unique and memorable stay in Kaikoura. Wacky Stays is quirky, creative, and full of character — not your standard accommodation, and that’s exactly what we loved. Dan and Phoebe were lovely hosts, showed us around, and even let us help feed the animals, which our family really enjoyed. You can really feel the passion behind this place.

The place is beautiful. Clean and comfortable. A little chilly where breakfast was served but it was unusually very cold outside. Love the library to relax Def highly recommend

We had an incredible stay at Sergeant House and were so impressed by the peaceful atmosphere. From the start, Chathuri was such a friendly and approachable host, and the entire staff was equally attentive and easy to talk to throughout our visit. We particularly loved the Guest House Suite. It provided us with so much space to relax, and the bed was easily one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The facilities really set this place apart: ? The Breakfast: We looked forward to the large, delicious breakfast every morning—it was the perfect start to our day. ? The Property: Having access to a private beach, a serene spa, and a lovely library gave us plenty of options for downtime. ? Beach Gear: We really appreciated that they provided snorkeling and beach equipment, which made our trips to the water completely hassle-free. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Unawatuna with a personal touch, this is it. We can't wait to come back!
