Staff were extremely helpful, room was clean and spacious. My only criticism would be that I wasn’t told that if I had pre-booked breakfast it would have been cheaper. I think ￡18.49 is a bit steep for breakfast

Check-in was easy and staff were very helpful. Room was very spacious and clean with excellent tea and coffee products.
Location is vey good, just a short walk into the town centre. Would definitely book again when visiting Shrewsbury.

Riscaldamento poco efficiente in camera, assenza di sottofondo musicale nella spa.Ospiti maleducati che parlavano a voce alta e sono stati richiamati dopo un’ora dal personale.Percorso di collegamento tra la Spa e la camera congelato, a rischio di prendersi un raffreddore visto che ci si trova in accappatoio. Stanze non insonorizzate: dal nostro bagno sentivamo quello che succedeva nella camera accanto. Pulizia da rivedere. Presa di corrente assente in un lato del letto. Sconsigliato a chi cerca confort e relax.

Wonderful hotel and fantastic restaurant, we booked at the very last minute and are so glad we did, everything was lovely, the parking is easy, lovely reception and rooms. The Red Lion is superbly decorated and very warm and homely and is dog friendly in the bar area. Will make and excuse to visit again very soon.
