2016年和2017年住过酒店，2026年也回来住了，十年前哥哥4岁，十年后多了弟弟，弟弟也6岁了，哥哥变成12岁，十年人事几番新，感觉到的服务也不一样，以前温情一点，现在程序一点，anyway，酒店里有很多美好回忆。希望，对于亲子家庭可以更多升级服务。

Very clean communal area, great staff. Our room had not been cleared properly as we found sweet wrappers on the floor. The tea/coffee had not been refilled. (Not a problem for us, we take our own). No toilet brush in bathroom. Toilet, sink and toilet roll holders were too close together making it uncomfortable. Coffee machine in cafe was broken. Great to have cafe and bar on site tho, which we used. Silly things really, but will use again

Stay over for party in the function room. Room very clean ... staff professional and welcoming..plenty choice on beers and spirits at fair prices. Food for party top rate. Breakfast the same.

Most of the Hotel needs improvement, it’s not a 4 star hotel but may have been in the 1970’s

The room was clean and decorated beautifully, the bedding and pillows were so cosy and soft and much needed on a cold evening! Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Had dinner which was worth every penny and a generous portion, and the same for breakfast. It’s a steep walk up to Port Isaac but not as bad as it looks, if you turn right at the car park at the top of the hill you can walk along a path with great views that leads to a nice ice cream shop. Lovely touch of dry robes in the bedroom cupboard to be used if needed, we were very lucky with the weather so didn’t need them but would’ve been handy if a bit cold and wet!

Room – Tidy and clean, but the air conditioner was not functioning well. It was not cold enough. Bathroom – The pipe was leaking, and the sink water pressure was too low. The amenities provided were only shampoo and shower gel. No toothbrush was supplied. Indoor Pool – The water was too cloudy. Ambience – The room was not soundproof. Since the hotel is located near the main road, noise from outside was quite loud and may disturb your sleep. Overall – The hotel building is quite old and in need of some maintenance. Although the room was tidy and clean, several facilities were not functioning properly, including the air conditioning and some bathroom fixtures. The indoor pool was also not well maintained. Additionally, the noise from the nearby main road may disturb light sleepers as the rooms are not fully soundproof. Overall, the stay was average, but improvements are needed to enhance guest comfort and experience.

We had a lovely stay at Gateway Hotel Varkala. The sea views and peaceful atmosphere were truly refreshing. The staff were warm and courteous, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a relaxing and memorable experience — would definitely recommend for a serene getaway.

在市中心，位置好，装修也舒服，就是房间小了一点儿，毕竟是最贵的地段. 走路去市中心的景点也很近，早餐也丰富，推荐.

离阿罗街夜市走路几分钟很方便。服务人员非常好，态度很好。房间很智能，用ipad控制灯光。早餐也不错。装修风格和细节很好。 非常适合旅游的朋友
