We stayed at the hotel for 1 night but could have easily stayed for longer. The communication prior to arrival and during our stay has been exceptional. The staff have been very attentive and work extremely hard to ensure the best guest experience. The building and rooms are beautiful. The bed was so comfy. Our 7 year old daughter slept so well. The food is outstanding. Do not hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed. I also have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and this place passes with 5 stars!

My wife and I expected a good quality room for this overnight stay. We do not understand how so many people gave glowing accounts of their stay. I have use Hotel in the past and this is the first disappointment I have had. Got hotel aroun 10pm Reception at the lounge bar. Given keys for room 12. Stairs up to room filthy , decor poor. Got to room 12 furniture tired,dated and falling apart.as well as the bed . Bathroom was newer , after using it , my wife wanted to leave . It was the final straw . Toilet brush was full of god knows and sitting a holder with brown liquid in it. We decided within Ten minutes that we could not stay . I gave manager the key and left. Decided to drive home to Scotland and just put the money down to experience.

Noisy in the basement room until 11pm. The staff told me it was from the restaurant’s dishwasher. Good breakfast and nice staff.

Breakfast was great Wifi and network signal was bad Room was spacious and kid friendly??

A great property in Hermanus, thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Warm welcome from all the staff who could not do enough for your. Enjoyed having a sea view room with spectacular uninterrupted views of the ocean, very comfortable room with a balcony. Breakfast was excellent and all cooked to order. Easy walk to the centre for fantastic range of restaurants, and loved spending time at Flicks across the road, what a brilliant place to enjoy dinner and drinks at sunset. Brilliant hotel and highly recommend.

The location was great and a very easy walk down to the Eifle Tower and in a lovely neighbourhood. The start were exceptional on the desk and really helpful and friendly. The room was nice but just slightly different to what we expected as was bright orange and the Quadruple room the 4th bed was a pull out that wasn't really suitable for us but perfect for a child.

Time for some new linen. Remove smoking tray from outside rooms and have a dedicated smoking area.

We loved our stay here, the house is really pretty and traditional, very nicely furnished and very clean. Our bedroom had French doors onto the terrace that wraps around the house and overlooked tropical gardens and a golf course with mountains to the side and behind. The service was amazing, we even found that our car had been washed before we left! Breakfast was beautiful, cooked to order and a beautiful setting. Hermanus itself was lovely and felt very quaint and safe with a stunning cliff walk. The house has secure gates but we walked from the house to the beach and path and enjoyed the walk. We would definitely return

The room was clean. Check-in and out process was easy. We loved the room we got out in, which had a nice view of the Brighton life below.

All clean and smooth.......some late night chatters nearby is all....
