Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Broken drinks vending machine and they sorted me out water. Really good price and rooms great. Hairdryer does set off the fire alarm though!

The staff are very friendly. The room very clean. Very quiet. Recently renovated. Ensuite is small but has everything. The Links was the first to have ensuites and the House is nearly 100 years old. Good breakfast. Would stay again

Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on and we stay in about 20-odd hotels a year. There is ZERO padding, could feel every spring. I can’t stress how bad it was. My parents said there’s was the same in their room. Rooms are also a little outdated, carpets needed to be replaced a long time ago. Otherwise, it’s a great location with a nice view if you book a good room.

We checked in at about 8pm, then went to dinner heading back to the hotel at 10pm. The room was beyond disgusting. Maintenance upkeep on the room is something that is not kept up. There was no hot water in our Jacuzzi suite and we were told that the boiler was down an to give them "time" to get it back up and running. We checked out at 1am because there was still no hot water. When checking out there was no General Manager to talk to so I could get a check out receipt, I was told they could not give me a receipt stating the time i checked out because their audit was not completed yet. I was handed a handwritten paper of who to call after 8am to talk to about a refund. When i called i was told they can give me a 30% discount. When I asked why not a full refund i was told after 30 minutes of being in the room they can no longer give me a full refund. I explained that the front desk clerks told me to give it "time" but they did not care and refused the refund. To be told to give it "time" and then to be refused a refund because I did what the front desk told me to is beyond ridiculous and feels more like a scam so they can get away with not refunding money because of their own lack of upkeep, Maintenance and proper staffing of their property. For the price they charge I would not recommend this hotel.
