Excellent place to stay, staff were very friendly, helpful. The room was spacious

This was my first time staying at Nilai Springs Resort, and I already expected it to be an old resort. However, the experience was a bit disappointing, especially upon arrival at night. The road leading to the hotel after the guard house was very dark, with no clear signage and no street lights, making it difficult to find the entrance. When I arrived at the lobby, it looked quite nice and well-presented, possibly refurbished, which gave a better first impression. Check-in was smooth, and although I initially booked a Superior room, I upgraded to a Deluxe room because I wanted a bathtub. Walking to the room, the hallway was very dimly lit, with only faint lighting, giving a rather gloomy feeling. Once inside the room, it was clear that the resort is very old. The furniture looked extremely outdated, the bathroom fixtures were worn out, some pipes looked like they were about to break, and the bathtub was not clean. The drain for the bathtub was also broken and could not be turned properly. The room lighting was very dull, and the room was not soundproof at all—I could clearly hear other guests opening and closing doors and talking. That said, the room was very spacious, which was a plus, especially since my child could run around comfortably. Still, the overall atmosphere at night felt dark and deserted, making the hotel feel rather eerie, as if not many guests were staying there. In my opinion, the rooms really need a full refurbishment. The next morning during breakfast, I finally saw many guests around, mostly foreigners, including Chinese and Korean tourists. The breakfast was good and delicious, especially the pastries. All the pastries tasted excellent—honestly better than some five-star hotels. The swimming pool area was another highlight. The pools are huge and there are several of them. The kids really enjoyed playing there. However, part of the children’s pool looked dirty and clearly needs better maintenance. Only during the daytime did I fully appreciate the surroundings of the hotel. The view was beautiful, as the resort is surrounded by a golf course. Unfortunately, at night, the area feels very dark and gloomy. Adding more lighting around the hotel would greatly improve the overall experience. Overall, this hotel has so much potential. With proper refurbishment and better maintenance, especially in the rooms and lighting, it could be a really great resort.

amazing location honestly right by a metro stop too so can get to anywhere!! So much to do and staff were super lovely would stay again

Abbiamo soggiornato al Jakoberhof con una coppia di amici e per 3 notti siamo stati raggiunti dai ns. figli. Le stanze sono molto spaziose, accoglienti e funzionali. La Spa, sebbene piccola, ha comunque le carte in regola per distendersi e rilassarsi dopo una giornata di sci con gradevoli saune e bagno turco con piacevoli e adeguate temperature. La piscinetta ha ottimi idromassaggi e getti per nuoto da fermi; mi permetto di suggerire di aumentarne la temperatura di un paio di gradi. La ristorazione è di ottimo livello così come la carta vini, molto gentile e professionale il personale ai tavoli. Infine una parola per i fratelli Piccolruaz, gentili ed efficienti e una menzione particolare a Marcus con il quale abbiamo avuto modo di chiacchierare non solo di turismo ma anche di altri aspetti della vita di tutti i giorni. Una splendida settimana!!

60天大的宝宝出游初体验，选择波特曼还是非常放心的！房间够大且不出门就能看海景；灯光氛围合适，适合宝宝入睡；特别喜欢软硬适中的床垫，宝宝和大人一起睡上去很好入睡。也很感谢林弘经理，前期收集需求帮忙安排房间，入住期间回应需求及时、专业，让出行体验感更上层楼~

Clean spacious room, friendly staff at breakfast and for evening meal.

Rooms are clean and tidy, could do with slight updating but did not ruin our stay, reception Staff was friendly, welcoming and was eager to help with knowledge about local area. Bar staff and chef from breakfast were great. Overall a lovely hotel and pleasant stay. Great value for money that we paid.

The room was immaculate. The staff were amazing from start to finish. I enjoy drinks and great entertainment even all the customers were wonderful people and very pleasurable experience. I would recommend it for anyone staying in the area
