Every now and again, you come across in life, some exceptional people who restore your faith in human nature. I cannot praise too highly the care and attention that Corina has afforded me during my stays here and for that reason alone, I am delighted to stay here over and over again. Admirably supported by Rasel. I have invariably found the staff here approachable, efficient and attentive to detail. The rooms are clean comfortable and light. The recent refurbishment has also transformed the dining and drinking area into a comfortable and relaxing environment with great internet access, such that I was able to carry out a working lunch over a Zoom call. In addition, the bar now stays open to 1am, ideal for a nightcap before retiring to my room. The location is perfect for me as it is within easy walking distance of Prince Regent DLR station. I do hope that the management will find itself in a position to congratulate its staff on a job well done.

The staff are just wonderful and couldn't be more helpful and courteous.

It can be easy to be letdown by a country hall hotel - not at Washingborough. Gravel driveway, lovely gardens, friendly reception and a great room that is better in the flesh than the photos. Room 26, or Ingilby as it said on the door is large, luxurious and overlooks the garden. The bathroom has a massive shower and a claw foot bath. And great water pressure! The bed is huge and a unique headboard with suitcase style. We loved the window shutters too and closed them as well as the heavy curtains - a quiet night ensued. Food? Fine dining. One of us is a chef and was fawning over the bang bang cauliflower while my halibut and saffron linguine stunned. Service from our young chap on the floor was attentive, low key and friendly and I’m now sorry I didn’t get your name. Breakfast too was on point on all counts. Bad points? If I had to say anything, was that the lack of doors on the shower meant we wet the floor even with mats down. Minor. And someone vacuuming the hall during breakfast was a distraction that sort of reminded us we were leaving! I would schedule that till after 10am. We were overjoyed with our stay, thank you.

Staff were polite, food was good. Room looked nice on the service however some parts looked very work, paint missing in bathroom etc.

Very nice spacious room. Comfy mattress , lots of natural light. Could still use a little more repair but the whole hotel is undergoing renovations. It’s located in a very good area, across from Lexington Med Center and lots of restaurants and stores. We will stay there again in the

Beautiful rooms with serene decor. Plenty of nice lounging chairs and beds. Beach never crowded. Friendly staff, good food, great massage at the spa. Excellent boutique hotel!

downstairs rooms a little musty pool area is terrific (but seat cushions need replacing-many are ripped) Food was very good.

A home far from home, very homely serene and peaceful. You can always make it early to your catch your flight.
