This is the hotel of my choice in Beijing. Everything was perfect. As always.

Nette kleine Anlage,mit allem was man braucht.überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.Frühstück und Abendessen sehr lecker und reichhaltig.Mangele der Manager organisiert alles,von der Fahrt zum Strand bis zu mehreren Tagesfahrten.Und das beste daran war das er gut Deutsch spricht.Wir kommen auf alle F?lle wieder!!!!

The food at the restaurant was delicious for both breakfast and dinner and the pool and views were absolutely beautiful!! The entire staff was so friendly and attentive. Special shout out to Benson - who was truly the best during our stay. He was so friendly, helpful, and just went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable + enjoying ourselves!

We had a great stay with premier inn, quite and peaceful night, I truly appreciate Miss Grace at front desk for her wonderful patience and very polite service.

Great location, excellent value for money. Premier room was spacious, very functional, very clean, very quiet. Great bed and shower. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely relaxed vibe.

Tucked away in a village just outside Shaftesbury it is a perfect country inn. Taken over in August 2025 by Rupert, Sophie and family they have major plans for sympathetic improvements to upgrade the large comfortable en suite bedrooms each with great views over the surrounding countryside. This friendly and extra helpful couple and their staff run an excellent hostelry with a delicious food and beverage offering. You can eat in the restaurant, the bar or in one of several cosy side rooms, each with a real log fire. Lovely to come back to after a busy day out. Would thoroughly recommend and look forward to our next visit hopefully with warmer and drier weather so that we can also enjoy the large grounds.

The lodge is in a very nice spot and the location is amazing. Though the whole place seems a bit like abandoned. We were in a double bed bungalow, it was extremely basic, which would have been alright but most things were literally falling apart (toilet, doors, mosquito net, fan...everything was old and dirty). Also the towels were old and smelly, there were big ants everywhere in the floor, the outside sun beds and chairs were almost falling apart and the electricity was out every evening, for hours. Moreover, as there were works in the hotel next door that is under construction, it was quite loud, sometimes untill 1 am, and it was hard to sleep and to even hear the sound of the sea. In other words the price is way too high for the rusticity that is offered. The only thing that is absolutely lovely are the workers (that we noticed the owner doesn't really treat so kindly).

Maria was lovely at the check in desk managed to get us into the room early as we arrived a before check in time. Hotel was clean and parking simple

We stayed in the farriers room overlooking the garden. The room is compact but well appointed with a good drinks offering. Good tea and coffee and Earl grey in the room. You are provided with large pump bottles of Bamford shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and hand soap! No need to bring any of these with you. Also hair dryer in room is good and strong! The bed was super king size which are used to at home so this was good, but it dominates the room. We also added a bottle of fizz to the room booking and because we were booked in for two nights upon check in we could say if we wanted this first night or second. I also have a dairy intolerance so advised on booking that I would need either fresh soya or oat milk for the room, this was given in an ice bucket without need for reminder. Along with fresh milk for my husband. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows great! Slept like a log! The breakfast is fantastic quality and portions generous I had to ask for child size portions as I can’t eat a great deal in a morning! We also went slightly ’off piste’ on second day breakfast my husband wanted a simple sausage sandwich which they did no questions asked. And I requested a slight change with scrambled egg smoked salmon and mushrooms no sourdough and again child size portion. It was perfect. Over our three day two night stay, we went to Hawkstone brewery, diddly squat farm, farmer’s dog- food was really really good for such a big venue high turnover! I was very surprised! The farmers puppy the following day to watch the rugby, then back to the horseshoes for more rugby and steak and chips! The steak is not cheap! But when you eat it you can see why! The food the service and the quality of everything and everyone of the staff members was just fabulous! I would recommend anyone to stay here and the setting (when it is not constantly raining) is stunning! Thank you Team The Three Horseshoes!
