We were given a room that already had people in it. There was a scary confrontation until we figured out what was going on. Told the front desk and they didn’t even care. Got a new room but no apology or acknowledgment of their serious mistake. New room was outdated and shower did not work.

Room was really vanilla, art on wall was dismal and the best thing about the stay was the rooftop bar closed off for private event and the bar in the lobby was so cold can’t believe that all doors were open during this cold weather

Best value we have found in Birmingham near 5 points. Convenient, free parking, private entry (Birdhouse), quiet, with a professional but friendly owner. Walking distance to 5 points restaurants and very close to UAB. Lots of space in the room for the price.
