It’s very budget with this price could do bit more.

V?ldigt fint hotell med stora rum

On 17th January this year it was my 60th birthday, we decided to invite all the family to the Waters Edge for a meal to celebrate. There was 32 of us including 9 children, the menu was given to us prior to the event so we all had to choose what we wanted and handed in a week before, which was fine. We arrived early to decorate the conservatory which wasn’t a problem at all with the staff, all the family arrived for 7pm, tables were set and all looked great. Dinner was served and it was fantastic!… everyone enjoyed their food and nothing was too much trouble for Leanne and all the staff, whatever we asked for was greeted with a “no problem”, our compliments to the chefs it really was first class, I would highly recommend the Waters Edge without any doubt at all, thanks to Natalie and all the staff for a wonderful evening. The hotel is a absolute gem just on the edge of west bromwich town centre. Modern and so clean from the moment you arrive your made to feel like your at home,the staff are so welcoming and professional they always remember that youve stayed before such pleasent people we had our keycard and went to the lifts to get to our room the lifts are spotless and there enough room id say for 8 people with luggage .the rooms are a credit to the housekeeping staff there spotless crips bed sheets and pillows more in the cupboard if needed spacious bath and shower head over bath is massive 4 mins under there is just perfect...you can eat at bottle inn onsite if you just want to relax or there plenty of places in west bromwich ill just give you one of them pfc perfect fried chicken high street west bromwich by the markets had a wonderful stay there id recommened it to anyone visiting west bromwich 5 stars ??????????

Great experience overall, from the evening welcome though to departure. Great room with luxury amenities, great WiFi and a breakfast that was just superb. I was there on business but would also return for leisure.

I can only review based on the lobby as the room I had booked was not actually available upon my arrival. I didn’t even get to stay at the hotel I booked. Instead they put me at the hotel next door which was not as clean or up to date but was fine for my purposes. I was very disappointed to not get to stay in the room I had actually booked though.

Brilliant room, fantastically old and quirky building, and wonderful staff. We had an evening meal and was disappointed the restarurant was closed but ate in the bar instead and food was good. The only downside is the hotel is not staffed overnight, so be extra careful not to leave anything in your room before 'checking out' as you will not be able to get back in, I stupidly left my car keys in the room and although there was nothing we could do on the day the hotel were super resposnsive in deling with my stupidity and we worked together on a solution - a lot of places would have responded differently so this was a reflection of good service which is to be applauded.

Room was a bit cold, even though I set the air conditioner at 30 it only went up to 21 after whole night of operation at full power. Also the shower didn’t have much pressure so water was more like drip than actual shower. Bed was nice and comfortable, tea coffee facility was good but no bottle water in the room though. Parking was not free as I booked through 3rd party websites but should be free in my opinion as a paid guest in the hotel.
