We have been at this hotel 3 years in a row, because we really enjoy the atmosphere. We stayed each time 2,5 to 3 weeks in January/February, on a half board basis. It is one of the hotels of Playa de las Americas that is the closest to the beach without any road between the hotel and the sea. The rooms are large with good size balconies and gorgeous views. The personnel is friendly and efficient, from the reception desk to the restaurant to the cleaning ladies. Special services are really a plus, like the late afternoon service that offers a second set of towels in case the ones you have used during the day would be damp (and it comes with little Lindt chocolates!) Playa de las Americas is busy, but the hotel offers a quiet oasis with palm trees and the feeling that you are in a much larger property in the middle of nowhere. It has three swimming pools, one is heated and of a good size but may be a bit crowded during the day, but the other two are huge and the sun, even in January, heats them enough (22/23 degrees ?) to allow an enjoyable 15 minute swim. The hotel parking is not very large and cannot be booked before arrival, but the public parking is 50 meters away. We very often took our luncheons outside, since we make a lot of hikes and journeys in the back country, so we did not make an extensive use of the buffet at night, but it offers a large variety of local and international dishes that are regularly refilled until late and the menus change every day with a lot of creativity. This year unfortunately, problems forced us to go back home earlier than foreseen, and the reception immediately offered (and made the same day) a refund of the unused days, based on the fact that we had booked a fully flexible rate. It is a very decent way of doing business. We are looking forward to come back next year for our usual 3 week stay.

Beautiful property and view. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of noise transfer between units, esp when closing Unit doors. Mattresses on beds need updating.

Spotless room and bathroom with great quality sheets and towels. Breakfast was off the scale and staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. In a great location for the city.

I booked the upgraded jacuzzi tub room. When I arrived I was told the tub Jets weren't working. I was given a regular room. I contacted both the hotel and the website afterwards to request a refund of the $37 upgrade fee. Hotel said pricing and refunds was up to ********** ********** said it was up to the hotel but at at least gave me a $25 one key credit. Unsatisfactory

Today is 1st day of Chinese new year and last night we had a nice drink to celebrate at the bar in the hotel. Friendly and good service. Always good to see a smiley face.
