Clean, comfortable room. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Hotel is perfectly located for visits to the Chateau as well as the area restaurants and shopping.

Service is great & food is good

My husband and I stayed at the Travancore Court Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable and enjoyable.Also, the chef took the time to meet with guests to get feedback on food prepared and even customized to accommodate dietary restrictions. A special thank you to Anandhu at reception who booked train tickets for us on his personal credit card and to the senior leadership team (namely Brijesh ) whose was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was happy and even arranged an anniversary cake for us????

Everything was absolutely on point — from the comfort to the overall service. The staff is extremely helpful, warm, and professional. A special mention to Anjali and Tanzeel for being so courteous and supportive throughout my stay. They truly made the experience smooth and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The room had everything you could possibly want or need for your stay including night light, magnified mirror, bath products, comfortable mattess (not too hard not too soft, just right), same with pillows. We would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at Shore Hotel and had a pleasant overall experience. The location is excellent—very convenient and close to everything, which made getting around easy. Parking was also very convenient, which is a big plus in the area. The room was spacious and very clean, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. However, my room was located right next to the lift, so it could be a bit noisy at times, especially when guests were using it frequently. Overall, it’s a great hotel with a fantastic location and comfortable accommodations. I would consider staying again, but would request a room away from the lift next time.

Honestly, nicest stay we’ve ever had in Lakes..Vicky(the manager) was incredibly welcoming and extremely helpful. Nice, secure car park.Now the Cartmel apartment we’re we got upgraded to… Absolutely beautiful throughout, superb decoration and the bed and bathroom were stunning!! The breakfast was amazing and a huge choice, 10 mins walk from Bowness centre ,, I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be going back, Thanks Vicky ??????????
