A fabulous 4th visit to Thudufushi, and again a Maldives holiday to remember. We were delighted with our allocated beach villa. We do love the simplicity of the decor and the spaciousness of the junior beach suites, which are always cool, clean and tidy with a fabulous outdoor bathroom. We had our preferred villa location on the island with sunshine from sunrise to sunset and only a few steps from our terrace to the water’s edge . The buffet restaurant continues to deliver extensive, delicious food choices. The bar, restaurant and reception staff are all very efficient and we were so happy to see the many welcoming, familiar faces around the island again. There was a noticeable increase in the number of child guests compared to our last 3 visits, which are always around the same dates. We were perhaps unlucky this time or maybe families are travelling more frequently to the Maldives in general. If that’s the case it maybe time to seek out an adults only resort, and one that isn’t dominated by one particular nationality, like Thudufushi is. At times there was evidence that some guests seem to have no consideration to fellow guests - talking loudly, shouting, allowing their children to race around the tables of the restaurant and walking back from collecting food from the buffet and being unable to wait to eat it before sitting back down at the table. Those things aside we had a wonderful two weeks and were sad to leave the island. I hope we will return, but for the first time we may look at alternatives for next year. We will see!!

A very nice place to park yourself when visiting Cambridge due to its great location (next to St John’s & River Cam) and good shopping and dining options all within 5-10 mins walk. Rooms are decent size with well stocked kitchen. Best of all they have a gym, washing & drying facilities and a lively and lovely dining area with a super bar. ?Very friendly staff and a ?shout out to Suhas at reception who looked after us during our stay. It’s also a location where many Uni students frequent to revise and chill, right next to the Cambridge Students’ Union building

Arrived at the hotel to find that the toilet and bathroom are in the middle of the room with no privacy as it is just behind glass. Picture on the website showed a plane of glass but we thought it was a wardrobe. The picture made it so obscure as to mislead. As I was travelling with a friend we would never book with a bathroom in the middle of the room even when in the description it states private bathroom which it is not. We were told by the reception that no other rooms were available. However, be careful as all the rooms are like this. We were promised a refund and stayed at another hotel locally with a normal bathroom. After 10 emails the manager said his staff are not authorised to offer a refund without his authority so get everything in writing before you leave or indeed the refund Itself. This statement from the manager says it all and I quote ' If we had to refund any guest who didn't like something about our hotel, we'd have to close down tomorrow.' How about offering good old customer service and be a respectable hotel that honours its promises made by its own staff. Rather than stealing money from good customers $550 euros! Do yourself a favour and stay away

Lovely and clean. Helpful staff. Comfortable bef. Very quiet. Disappointed that the spa was open as we were looking forward to that after a long journey

Merci surtout a Lorry qui et très serviable avec les clients

If you don't mind a noisy, cram-packed, huge caravan park, then this place will be right up your street! Everything is packed so tight that we could barely open the doors on our car once parked next to the cabin. Perhaps the most disappointing element was the bed being too soft that, despite a 7 hour drive, the sleep was terrible. At $232 for a night it was very poor value for money! Afraid we won't be coming back to this park anytime soon.

Such a beautiful getaway. The fridge was stocked with everything you need to make a great cheeseboard. The fresh bread delivered was marvellous!
