I recently had my daughter’s communion in the Hillgrove Hotel . It was a great day the food was fantastic and the kids entertainment that was supplied on the day was brilliant.

This is a beautiful hotel in a peaceful setting that has some quirks that need attention. The room was spacious, but there were no luggage racks nor anywhere to put clothes. The bathroom is lovely but the door to the toilet is transparent! Yes, there is a workout room but it is small and the equipment is old and not functioning properly. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is not to the standard that I typically expect of Wyndham properties. At some point, it may have been a premium hotel but it is very dated. The lobby, restaurant, and conference rooms are decent. But, the hotel rooms are poorly decorated and look cheap. Additionally, our first room had an AC unit that didn’t work. Fortunately, the clerk provided us another room.
The price is relatively low but the lodging is not a good value.
