Return guest and was not disappointed. Phumza and her team were great as usual. Construction next door resulted in noise throughout the day but that is not in the control of Southern Light.

Just next to the caravan park are food vans and we stopped next to them to get food as I have low mobility and a disability permit. The rude lady who was one of the caravan park staff came out and told us we were on caravan park land and had to move. We were not on their land and not blocking any access. We tried to explain and she was screaming at us. People were looking and it was embarrassing. We drove off and did not stay.

In hindsight, I received the service I paid for! (Life lesson) But, the hotel did disingenuouly bill itself on Trip.com as a 4?? hotel, not so by international standards. I gave them a 4 ??s for service because, I discovered they did not put me in an exexutive room like my booking, I complained and pointed that fact out and they quickly rectified the situation, BUT ONLY BECAUSE I COMPLAINED! SAD! ?? The staff was kind and doing their best and I appreciated that. It was my first visit to Dehli and I have adjusted my expextations. Buyer beware!

Internet outside of the lobby didn’t work well. Towels were so bleached they actually hurt my skin.

The property is stunning and the beach is spectacular, unfortunately breakfast is poor for such hotel Room was beautiful and very clean but had very weak water pressure, about 10% of normal pressure for a shower. Hotel personal is very kind but lack training and guidance. I asked several times over 2 days to extend an additional night but no one was able to assist, management was not available. Property is truly spectacular and I would stay again despite negative items

This trip to the Serengeti was truly a bucket-list experience, the kind that creates core memories and this luxury camp made it even more special than I could have imagined.I traveled with my kids, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The camp itself is spotless, superbly maintained, and incredibly comfortable. One detail that really stood out was the hot water bottle tucked into the sheets at night ,such a thoughtful touch that made the evenings cozy and unforgettable. But the true gems of this camp are the people. Every single staff member was exceptional, from the talented chef to the Maasai tribesmen who safely escorted us to our tent at night. A very special mention goes to Paolo and Agnes, my kids absolutely adored them and couldn’t get enough of their company. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our stay magical. My only regret is that we stayed just two nights ,it was nowhere near enough. I give this camp 5 stars without hesitation, and for the staff… 1,000 stars ??. This is a place that stays with you long after you leave.
