A chegada no hotel foi muito aconhedor. Tudo organizado.

Nous étions un groupe de 14 personnes dont 11 en situation de handicap, nous avons été re?u superbement bien, les chambres sont belles, très propres et spacieuse. Pour un groupe de 5 personnes, la petite maison juste a l'entrée est superbe aussi. La terrasse et les différents coins ainsi que la piscine et le jacuzzi LE TOP. Le petit déjeuner un vrai bonheur et surtout la gentillesse, l'empathie et la disponibilité de toute l'équipe, encore merci a vous, nous reviendrons.

五一出游，订的行政家庭房，房间没有什么特别的，行政礼遇做的还是比较好的，服务态度也不错.一楼早餐不错，下午有行政下午茶、晚上有自助餐都是免费的。

The hotel has operated (under different ownership) for many years and has undergone refurbishment at various stages. It’s located in a rural setting at Symington, approximately 4 miles from Biggar, or less than 10 minutes by car. There are a couple of taxis in the area but best to book in advance if you’re relying upon that mode of transport. Plenty of parking on site if you do have a car. We hadn’t been for some time and with family members due to attend a wedding function soon we decided to check out the facilities whilst having lunch. The dining room was very quiet at the time, with only one other party finishing their visit as we arrived so there was a lack of atmosphere. It’s a large space with nice décor including chandeliers however we thought the furnishings were a bit unusual for a traditional style hotel. The table was not covered and was very sticky with a cleaning product residue. Nevertheless we got a friendly welcome and were able to browse the menu which had a regular choice of dishes. We opted for Pan Fried Seabass, served with potatoes, broccoli, peas & a lemon & herb sauce (￡18.00) and Chicken Balmoral, served with some broccoli, cauliflower, leak and a Johnnie Walker Whisky sauce.(￡18.50). We were advised there would be a wait of approximately 25 minutes to cook the latter which was wrapped in bacon and stuffed with haggis. Meantime we ordered an Edinburgh Gin & Tonic (￡8.55) and a 175ml glass of Sauvignon Blanc (￡7.20). The wine was okay but not particularly identifiable as sauvignon blanc or chilled. The food did take the time suggested and when it arrived my wife enjoyed the fish, the greens and sauce however felt that the potatoes had been reheated and didn’t taste that great. My chicken was tender and there was a notable salty taste, possibly due to the bacon wrap, but the haggis filling was small and fairly bland. The vegetables were okay however I didn’t think the whisky sauce had any taste of whisky, more a standard gravy. For dessert my wife ordered Sticky Toffee Pudding, with ice cream & toffee sauce which she quite enjoyed (I tasted it and thought it was good) and I had Profiteroles with toffee sauce which I thought were very good. Both desserts were ￡8.00. Total cost of two course meal for two with a drink was ￡68 which nowadays would be classed as decent value for money. We thought overall the meal was okay. Having shown an interest in the function suite our server was kind enough to show us one which was in the process of being set up for a wedding the following day and another to the rear of the hotel which looked as if it had been refurbished in recent years. Aside from weddings the hotel have quite a number of tribute act/overnight night packages so these venues possibly get quite well used nowadays. Some features of the hotel are recognisable from days gone by with the pleasant grounds, the telephone box cubicle in reception and the staircase with an impressive stained glass window.

We are welcome by a group of Parrots and Wallaby when we arrived^_^ Beautiful Resorts and comfortable cabin especially Peninsula Cabin with kitchen and BBQ facilities. We like it so much, already plan for next trip^_^

Room was spacious, clean, and updated nicely; and the food at Augustino's was a delight! Staff was super friendly and helpful, however they definitely need a bigger team. This is no fault of theirs, of course, but some services like valet, bell hop, and the kitchen during lunchtime were delayed due to having only 1-2 people on duty. With this being a convention center, there's always going to be a larger crowd of guests. Corporate needs to hire more staff to support these kind, hardworking people.

Hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooms are dated and could use a refresh.

What a lovely find. Must have passed this hotel over the years and took no notice, until now. We had a standard room that met and exceeded our expectations. So clean and inviting. Fantastic shower and comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent and left car at hotel while we walked to the beach, only ten minutes away. Perfect!

Clean room at great price. Decent location not too far from Glasgow Airport with large car park with free parking
