Comfortable enjoyable place to stay.love the indoor pool and spa

True Gem This was a very pleasant surprise and a gem. The proprietors are artists and each room is unique, filled with special objects or art and furniture. The wonderful aroma of the gorgeous wood floors and fireplace transport you to a place calmness and serenity.

Cabins were new/refurbished and clean, it is a short drive to town and everything is so close. Price per night was good value also.

We inquired about secure parking before making reservations, and the staff spoke English and explained the set up. Everything was excellent--seemed secure, clean, comfortable, very nice--but the Caesar salad delivered by room service at 9 p.m. took a long time and was very bad. Lobby staff, who knew we didn't speak Spanish, should have told us to walk next door to Denny's to get a good salad. We chose to have an American breakfast at Denny's because the complimentary breakfast was very limited.

This is a wonderful spa-resort with fantastic views and it has all what you need for relaxing holiday. It is located by the lake and has a lot to offer: spa, gym, big swimming pool, sunbeds, every day activities. And a great vegetarian friendly restaurant. We had half-board and every day menu was different. It was our favourite morning routine: to read their newspaper with tips and to choose dishes for dinner. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of options. Staff was amazing too, always helpful and friendly. There is also lots to do around the hotel: hiking trails, bike ride around lake, kayaking, forest trails etc. We truly loved our experience and added this place into our favourites.

We had a fantastic time at Gasthof Jochele! The highlights: - fantastic food; every meal is a 5-course treat! So much better than "all inclusive" offer types - beautiful modern rooms, tastefully done to keep in sync with the long family history of the location - heated outdoor swimming pool and sauna - 15-minute drive to the Kronplatz sky area (200km of piste of various degeees of difficulty) - amazing staff - we felt among friends! We shall return!

Great property within walking distance of the best of Mainz and good parking area. Place was nice and perfect for a small family to stay for a few days.

Nice design idea, POOR implementation, as details are not thought through, such as wall hooks are missing or gone, mildew in the shower, sink areas and terrible or cheap quality toilet paper, especially for a 4 star hotel and vs what is actually available in Latvia, no hand soap, but a bottle of liquid soap and bottle that is falling apart, breakfast is in a bar/restaurant area with poorly cleaned sticky floor and obvious mistakes in the room numbering on the 2nd floor instead of 219 it says 119...not intentionally, but poorly checked when numbers were made or attached and cleaning was not done even though it was requested. Crooked metal furniture and terribly dirty, sticky tv remote control and absolutely limited to none English news,programs to watch, mostlyUkrainian, Latvian or German. Only the lobby staff helped to change towels. Not a 4 start hotel experience, as lobby staff is nice, but no understanding or training of a 4 star service quality and standard
