Great place to stay whilst venturing around the area. Clean and tidy and thoroughly enjoyed the soak in the spa pool after cycling the Historic Rail trail.

Great location and rooms. The hotel should have happy hours each day to encourage people to have a drink at the hotel. The beach was clean and patrolled which was good. Its a short walk to resturants and supermarkets.

We selected the Green Mountain Inn for its central location in VT. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us with several suggestions and ideas. This is a historic Inn so rooms have very little space. The staff showed us several very comfortable “living room” areas that were great. Breakfast was excellent as was the coffee.

The room (Jnr suite) was clean, comfortable & spacious with fridge, microwave & small hotplate in kitchenette but lighting, especially in kitchen & lounge was poor. When it was windy, the balcony roof caught the wind & it roared & rattled all night, but there were block out curtains in the bedroom. Parking was undercover which was great, & unusual in the area! The revolving restaurant had good quality food, but only 2 expensive choices - steak or fish!

We had a great stay, staff was very helpful and nice! Only issue we had was the ac was not working during our stay

Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here.
