Convenient location, in central CBD, good size of room, have a wonderful stay at this property

The rooms were in good condition. The bathroom and walk in shower could have been better.

At check in and check out staff was great and super friendly. Blinds in room didn't work, toilet paper holder was loose in wall and we asked staff regarding getting some glasses for our room and were told we could go get them ourselves. Valet guys and restaurant waitress were awesome.

Good. It's cheap

Really good overall. Just wished there was way pool to go into.

Sharyn and Butch offered a top class experience at their very comfortable B&B - it was exactly what we wanted, and at a very reasonable price. The advance communication was excellent, the room was quiet, well fitted out and comfortable; the ensuite was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pleasant lounge had teas, coffees and biscuits and the bonus of a wonderful sunset view! The breakfast was superb with cereal or porridge, a proper cooked breakfast and toast - just the thing to set you up for a day on the road! Butch and Sharyn engaged in pleasant conversation and offered good suggestions for local attractions and places to eat. It was an easy walk into the town centre, too. Overall we'd thoroughly and recommend Amberlea as an example of what a B&B should be.
