Clean room. Staff was kind. Parking was easy. Kitchen was stocked with just enough equipment. Our lodge was great except for the children (about 8-10 y.o) running nonstop above us. My husband and I were looking forward to a quiet and relaxing weekend but that did not happen due to the all day noise that went late into the evening and began again very early in the morning. The Boathouse restaurant had a great view but the food options could use some improvement.

We arrived early-the room was ready- clean, very comfortable and modern. The staff were friendly and due to the stormy weather we also ate at the hotel in the evening which was good, as was the breakfast. We toured the lakes and stayed here as well as Como itself - we preferred this - a short walk over the bridge to the nearest town, with plenty of bars and restaurants. The morning after the storm brought out the kite surfers and yachts - great spectacle from our balcony. Parking is a proper underground car park adjoining the hotel - ideal if there is a a storm. Can't fault the stay

We booked for Sunday lunch, had a drink in the bar lounge then went to lunch. Everyone was loverly and also friendly and professional. The roast was 10/10. Followed by a naughty desert. A lovely calm clean dog free atmosphere. The hotel is spotless clean and well maintained. Well done to the owners. Thank you.

We stayed in a Club Room on the second floor of the hotel on a Friday evening. The room was large and clean, with a coffee machine, pods, tea and coffee to use. The room also came with an iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. The TV had Sky Sports, which was great for a Friday evening. However, the room was not as “plush” as we thought that it would be - it was quite basic for an upgraded “Club” room. The gym and pool are that of a 5* hotel, which we had free access to. The car park is free for guests from 5pm on a Friday evening until 3pm on a Sunday, with plenty of spaces available. The hotel is situated just off a busy main road, but you do not hear the traffic at all and is around a 15 minute drive to the centre of the city.

1. No staff was on site for late check-in. 2. Front door did not close all the way. 3. Canopy bed had uncovered steel bars and blocked TV. 4. Window next to bed had plywood and duct tape cover. 5. Fireplace did not work. 6. Very noisy refrigerator. 7. Only one mirror in room. 8. No phone in room. 9. No microwave in room. 10. Out-dated TV with no movie channels. 11. No hair dryer in room. 12. Not adequate counter space in Bath. 13. Not enough towels or towel racks in Bath. 14. Required full payment up front. 15. Unreasonable cancellation policy.

It was impressive from the very clean, new room to the very impressive free breakfast!
