Excellent stay at The Langford Inn. Nice room and great food. Very near a wedding venue.

Really pleasant and calm environment here. Makes it easy to connect to the nature around. The staff was unbelievably kind and yet professional. Rajess was a great guide for birding. And Kimi was such a pleasant masseuse. Thanks again for all your services!

Abbiamo fatto 4 notti in questa struttura. Ho letto diverse recensioni e vorrei offrire le mie impressioni: Stanze: pulite, grandi, calde e con tv a schermo piatto. Se il cuscino e' troppo basso, chiedetene un altro che vi sara' dato! Staff: Claudio "e le sue donne" (la moglie, la ragazza in albergo e la ragazza in sala) sono stati estremamente gentili. Claudio e' un chiacchierone e ha sempre storie interessanti da condividere. E' anche fonte di consigli per chi non conosce la zona. Ci ha dato indicazioni su come organizzare la nostra giornata sugli sci (lato Francia al mattino, che poi la neve smolla) e ha consigliato rifugi sulle piste Cibo: colazione abbondante (buffet). Si trova dal dolce al salato. Il mio compagno e' stato felicissimo di trovare le uova al mattino! La cena ha sempre piatti diversi, offrendo anche un'alternativa senza carne. La distanza dall'hotel al ristorante e' di 3 minuti se si passa dal prato, forse 5 minuti se si fa la strada. Il sentiero e' battuto anche d'inverno, quindi si cammina tranquillamente. A noi ha fatto piacere fare quattro passi dopo cena per tornare in albergo. Il secondo giorno poi, sotto la neve (siamo passati dalla strada) che ha dato al paesaggio un aspetto magico. Per andare in La Thuile paese ci vuole la macchina, ma noi abbiamo scelto questa struttura proprio per la "location" Ci torneremo

The room was in good condition. However a few things to note- the bedroom and bathroom are seperate rooms but they are divided by a large opening with stained glass- not a solid wall. You can see the bed when on the toilet!! Also the room is not sound proof and you can hear a beeping sound from the door buzzer which is often. The rooms do have an amazing view. THere is no mini fridge and they charge extra for a cooler with ice if you want to keep your drinks cold. They said they do this to make extra money!!! Also it comes with 2 nespresso pods and they charge extra for any extra. You can ask for cream at the kitchen.

Decent place. The only issue we had was with the guy at check in. Think he was an owner. Spent at last 30 minutes trying to get checked in and all this guy wanted to do was bash America! As soon as he found out we were Americans he wanted us to know how bad our country is. He insisted we are the bullies of the planet that does nothing but start wars for no reason. He claimed we (America) was responsible for the war between Russia and Ukraine. He then went on to say that America orchestrated the events on 911. We were very offended by this man but being strangers in a strange land we didn’t know how to handle the situation with this guy. Other than this guy we loved our trip to Australia. If you’re an American I’d steer clear of this place. To the owner. You should leave world politics out of your business. You never know how cultures from other countries will react to your opinions. I think every American would have been offended by your statements. We sure were. Your hotel was nice and clean though.

Beautiful Heritage Resort. One of the best Heritage Resort in Alleppy.. Awesome place, Surrounded with beautifully maintained garden.. Ample space for parking. Overall best choice..

This place is amazing! Off the charts spa. Staff goes above and beyond. Joao was great as was Tiffen. THe rooms were clean and perfect! The town is beautiful, skiing is very close. Great mountain!

Cute little hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location and a fantastic breakfast delivered to the room every morning. The rooftop patio has stunning views, although the staircase to get up there is a little scary. Over all, clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again

The little garden villa is perfect with a. Nice sitting out area wit sea view and a semi outdoor bathroom with stylish plunge pool. All kept immaculately clean by friendly and efficient staff. It’s quiet though fully occupied, mainly by older couples - British , French and German at the moment. There’s a good pool area and the beach, while not owned by the hotel, is the longest and least developed I think I have ever seen. You can hire a chair in shade just outside the hotel fence for a couple of quid a day from a very helpful young man who brushes off sand at intervals. The food is very good. You could have a blow out breakfast and dinner from a wide selection of dishes. Only downside is the coffee- but that’s not great in any of the hotels we’ve visited in Sri Lanka
