We stayed last night as a stop off to do a walk today.
The room was clean, warm and the bed was comfy and had tea and coffee making facilities.
The location is good for the lakes if you want to break the journey, takeaways are 5 mins away in seascale along with a coop.
It's not fancy, but for ￡45 a night, it did exactly what it needed to for us.

The TV in the room didn’t work (I had to keep takin the batteries out to reset it) and the water took a LONG time to get warm, but it never got hot. A warm shower is better then a cold one though.
But the woman at the front desk, she was awesome! I can’t recall her name, but she is a great asset.
