We were in Glasgow for the epic Celtic v Hearts league finale and the Wellington Hotel was a perfect place to stay on a perfect weekend. Very central location with excellent staff and excellent rooms. The people at Reception were unfailingly helpful and pleasant to deal with.

A very clean and comfortable room. Great shower. Excellent location right in the heart of the cbd. Reception staff were very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Ehrlich gesagt waren wir im Vorfeld ein wenig skeptisch, ob die vom Hotel selbst auferlegte doch sehr hohe Messlatte auch wirklich vor Ort gehalten werden kann. Aber soviel schon mal vorweg - sie konnte. Wir haben eine Junior Suite gebucht und waren im Raum 257 untergebracht und besser h?tten wir es nicht antreffen k?nnen. Modern und hübsch eingerichtet, 2 Balkone, fantastischen Ausblick und und und. Wir haben uns direkt mega wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und der Innenhof im alten Gem?uer lud direkt dazu ein ein kühles Getr?nk zu sich zu nehmen. Ebenso das Restaurant, in dem u.a. auch Frühstück und Abendessen serviert wird, ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Der Wellnessbereich ist auch mit den 4 Saunen ausreichend dimensioniert, lediglich der Au?enbereich ist im Textilbereich (Schwimmbad) gemütlicher. Apropos textilfreier Bereich: ein zus?tzlicher Hinweis am Zugang zum Sauna Bereich würde vielleicht ein wenig "peinliche" Situationen verhindern. Man hatte fast das Bedürfniss sich vor Saunanutzern mit Badekleidung zu rechtfertigen. Rückblickend war unser Aufenthalt wirklich fantastisch, alle vom Team waren nett, Wundersch?ne Wanderungen starten direkt vor der Haustür, tolles Haus, Kuchenbuffet am Nachmittag usw.......
