All was good. The location is very convinced. But parking is a bit expensive.

The coliving is a ten minute walk to all major attractions and has lots of supermarkets,bars and restaurants within a stones throw. Eva,the coliving manager is awesome.very friendly helpful and will go out of her way to help her guests The coliving is modern and has an industrial architectural vibe about it The kitchen is great (the only thing I would recommend, would be to write indications on how the induction top works) The rooms are clean as a whistle. Eva offers great tailor made packages for co working and coliving. I would definitely contact her directly in future when I go back I highly recommend this coliving

Great place to go, however, if you are a light sleeper, I advise against. They have Horses and every night they made noises and I struggled to sleep. I went over a weekend which included a public holiday; however, I was disappointed by the staff being unavailable. Reception was closed and I needed toilet paper as it had not been replaced during the cleaning while I was out. I spend the last day at this place without ant toilet paper, which was an inconvenience and inconsiderate. When I texted their WhatsApp number, there was no response until the following day.

First impression outside was lovely. I read all the reviews and thought this place is great, however the inside was NOTHING like the pictures on line, even the breakfast described was different then what you were served. The common rooms on the web site did not exist. The owner was seem nice on the phone but when asked if she had any pamphlets of listing of restaurants she said I could google it. We have been going to B&B for eighteen years and this I would not go to again. In the night the refrigerator was banging to I tried to unplug it, it made a big bang sparks every where and blew the fuse. I called the owner Number and had to leave a message, it was 4:30am. Never got a call back nor did she come to the room, never even mentioned it in the morning. In the morning I said we are not staying our second night. Speaking with other guests they also had numerous complaints. I really was beginning to wonder if the reviews on line were for another B&B. Another main issue was she figured the bill incorrectly I informed her and wanted a printed copy of refund. Two phones calls and 3 weeks later the refund appeared, and believe it or not it was $1.06 short....really. So if you want to believe a true review do not go to Berry Patch B&B.

The service and ambiance of this hotel was a great introduction to Merida: lovely, friendly staff, with Ernesto and Carla at the desk, ready to be helpful with suggestions, and architecture highlighted with beautiful art. Our room was as nice as any I've stayed in, overlooking the courtyard trees. Have to thank the housekeeper Ligia here since I didn't see her. Breakfast was a great way to start the day and after three mornings I was looking forward to seeing the chef, Santos. Such a kind and attentive gent! I might come back just to say hi to the folks here.

I booked The Kilmartin Hotel pretty last minute for a business trip . The reviews on trip advisor are not a true reflection on our stay at all. We arrived at 2:30 pm approximately to find that all of the doors were locked, with no sign of life. We then phoned and no one answered, so we left a message, we were not called back. The temperature outside was approximately-1 Celsius at the time. We decided to walk round to the back of the property and saw the chef cooking in the kitchen. We knocked the window and he came out. He was very friendly and helped us to the best of his ability. He called another staff members who then arrived 5 minutes later to check us in and show us to our room. We paid ￡110 for a room which was supposed to have a bath, that was not the case, we had a room with a shower, but that want an issue. The main issue was the room. We got “The Winter” room and I can honestly say that it is the worst room that I have ever stayed in. I run a very successful tour company and stay in hotels and B and B’s all over the country.with clients from all over the world and for me not to post this review would be completely irresponsible as I would hate anyone to pay good money to come to Scotland, to find this disgraceful accommodation. On entering the room, we found the ceiling rose hanging down from the light fitting with single core, single insulated cables with live terminals exposed. I must add that I am also a fully qualified electrician with over 25 years experience. The other main issue was the ceiling, with horrific water marks and mould on the ceiling. During the night, we were both woken up on several occasions with a scratching noise from within the walls, The property clearly has an issue with mice or rats. I find this level of hospitality disgusting and not acceptable. It would cost a decorator ￡150 approx for a days work, plus some sugar soap, stain block and white emulsion paint to touch up the ceiling. There is obviously a bigger problem from above the ceiling, but to walk in to the room and see it like that was disgusting. I have read many of the reviews, one I believe from 2019 was from the same room and even a photo of the same light fitting hanging down. I will say that the staff were all friendly, the haggis starter was very good, as was the steak pie, my cheeseburger was dry. The onion rings were absolutely disgusting and drenched in oil and I could not eat them. Breakfast was also absolutely fine. All I can say is , the way the hotel is at the moment, avoid avoid avoid. The location is stunning and steeped in history and people deserve much much better.
