Very disappointed with customer care. I had to? request a cancellation request less than 24 hours after booking, with over two weeks’ notice during high season, but no refund was issued, due to a critical medical situation involving an immediate family member. The refund was rejected on the grounds only unavoidable emergency if it relates to the guest, was beyond disappointed by the lack of understanding during such a difficult time. I did explain to the property the situation in full. They advised it was booking.coms terms but *********** confirmed it was the property's discretion to grant or refuse a refund. There was no understanding of situation, I was actually quite taken a back.
