Sunday roast booking for four people. Table booked for 3pm turns up and table wasn’t ready and to wait at the bar. Absolutely fine glad people are enjoying their tables. Had a drink at the busy bar and got to enjoy the piano player and atmosphere. When being sat at the table the staff took a long time to take an order. Went to order the beef roast to be told the are now serving it with skirt steak instead (I’m guessing they ran out of beef)Starters came were delicious. Waited for mains. (We ordered 4 roasts and 7 side dishes). After our roasts and sauces were delivered the sides never turned up. We finally managed to get staffs attention to say about the sides. They apologised they didn’t make them and had ran out of a couple but would start them now. We opted to say don’t worry as we had nearly finished the food. Pudding time ordered the specials pudding - they came back and told us it had sold out. We then opted for no puddings. The bill arrived - all sides and all puddings included on the bill. Which wedges to get removed: Can’t fault any of the food but you just felt bad for the staff no one in control of the situation and all customers feeling a little unattended to. No one really was aware of what was going on. Just needed better management of the room. I would return but needs improvement of restaurant management
