We had a lovely stay for one night for my birthday, it is a place I have wanted to visit for a long time as my great grandfather was once the Landlord back in the early 1900s - it was lovely to see where my grandad, his brothers and sister used to ferry customers across the river. The Ferry Boat Inn has a very comfortable feel, and a friendly atmosphere - it is so nice to see a traditional pub opened which captures our culture of a village pub. The food was excellent we had dinner and bed and breakfast, which was good value. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely comfy bed and warm bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am sure my great grandfather and grandad would be over the moon to see their pub from yesteryear still serving the local community.
