Bad air quality in room 109 - smell of mold. Informed front desk immediately after check in. There is no air flow as the window in the bathroom does not open. Only a small window next to the bed high up. I opened the door for an hour and the tiny window. Did not improve materially. Was not contacted again by front desk - they hope you don't complain anymore without fixing the actual problem - its a construction/ maintenance issue - the Italian way of business. There is no noise insulation either. The floors are stone, you hear everything from other guests. At 7am you are wide awake from the noise by housekeeping. I am platinum with accor and I would not stay in this hotel again. It has wonderful historic detail and is stylish but they cant get the basics right - thats modern Italy for you in a nutshell.

However, we would like to point out that, following your report, our staff intervened after you left the room with a treatment of the environment and ensured regular airflow in between the room window and the main door. After this we did check the situation and did not find any irregularities.We would also like to inform you that our housekeeping service does not operate before 8:30 a.m.; therefore, the noises you heard were most likely caused by other guests who were heading to the breakfast area.In any case, we hope you will choose to stay with us again in the future and have a more positive experience.Kind regards,
