I had the unfortunate displeasure of spending 11 miserable hours at this "glampsite". We arrived at night, where you are required to drive down a bumpy dirt road with no signage. We drove into a neighbouring property who pointed us in the right direction. We checked in and the glamping tent was actually pretty cool, but that's where the positives end. At around 11pm a rave/disco started up in the field next to the property and went on until 6am. It was unbearable and we didn't get any sleep despite a long day of traveling. In the daylight morning I was able to survey the property better. The "breakfast" is a bundle of bread, cheese and eggs that you are required to cook yourself in a dingy kitchen that's shared with the other guests. There are a handful of dishes and cups that are again shared with questionable cleaning. Coffee was a shared jar of instant that you were required to boil water for on the stove. Our first morning there were a number of young men hanging around the kitchen smoking *****. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but hightailed it out of there to the Hotel Altiplanico, which cost a little more but was the Ritz in comparison. I had refund for the remaining 2 nights but nothing for the sleepless night of latin rave music. I'm astounded this place has the positive reviews that it does and frankly I feel a little duped - are they even real? Moreover, at ~$100 per night, the place is not cheap for what is essentially more shanty town than glamping.
