This five star hotel has been in business many years, occupying a commanding view of the lake and having a historical tie to the James Bond movie Goldfinger. Arrive in Lucerne by train, take the boat across the lake, and then the funicular up to the top to arrive in a truly unique style. The view are spectacular, even on cloudy/overcast days. Lake on one side, high meadows on the other. Nice walking in and around the facility, many places to sit and take a break and enjoy the countryside views.
