Being tired of work and city life......i decided to get away to a rustic place.Browsing through the destinations near Pune on the net Mulshi hit me as in the heart of a teak forest....the name nailed me as the destination. It was just an hour for Pune ..the approach was rocky, full of pebbles and tiny rocks. Once we reached the destination Ekayana, we were transported to 1940s . ... . the rooms had brick and cemented rough plastered walls and every little thing was of the 30/40 s. Every piece locks to lamp to the handles of the doors were carefully and artistically chosen we were in Awe .... It was meal time and we had the typical local rustic food prepared by the local women. The kitchen was superbly clean and the women were extremely hospitable and ever smiling. There is a beautiful small Temple with very powerful energy which we got back home... I highly recommend this place for trekkers and people who love the rustic atmosphere.Bharathi &Jyothi
