Terrazas de Dana Hotel is beautiful, and the suites offer a very pleasant nature view. However, we had a VERY BAD experience with the manager, Marco, who showed an unfriendly attitude and no customer-oriented approach. I asked if it was possible to have breakfast in our room, as we did during a previous visit, and his response was an authoritative “NO!!!.” I mentioned that I could bring our breakfast up on a tray myself, and he replied that. “I can’t do whatever I want in his hotel” and that. I “must go down to have breakfast in the restaurant.” I regret the lack of kindness and empathy, as better treatment would have made the stay much more pleasant. The place is beautiful, but Marco’s attitude leaves a very bad impression to us. In addition, the bed only had a bottom sheet and a very rough blanket — when I asked, he said “that’s how they usually make it.” We also had leaks every time it rained; they put adhesive tape on the ceiling to contain the rain water ?? and left us a mop so we could keep drying the floor ourselves.
