Our third visit and again a wonderful two night stay. Staff very welcoming at reception and Paul took our bags up for us. Had the same room again , Room 1 , and love it . Certainly has a “WOW” factor as the large windows have a perfect view of the outstanding Lake Vyrnwy. The room was clean, comfortable and housekeeping kept it beautifully. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and food was lovely and well presented. The weather was beautiful so we spent a day outside looking at the stunning view across the lake , reading, drinking coffee and G&T - generally relaxing . The staff were all friendly and helpful. Yes the hotel is a little jaded and probably does need some attention but does not detract from the overall experience and adds to its allure. Will be looking at diary to see when we can go back .
