Absolutely blown away by the newly refurbished Hotel Allen! The venue looks fantastic, the food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and the meal sizes were spot on — great value all round. What impressed me most though was how well the team handled their first week of trade. In Townsville, we see it all the time when a new place opens — everyone rushes there at once, staff struggle to keep up with the sudden influx, people have bad experiences, and unfortunately they don’t come back. That absolutely was not the case here. The staff at Hotel Allen were organised, welcoming, and handled the busy atmosphere brilliantly. It’s clear a lot of effort has gone into both the refurbishment and the customer experience. Outstanding first week of trade — keep up the great work!
