We have just spent a most enjoyable 3 days here. The room was well appointed and enjoyed the wonderful view of the lake towards Monsaraz. Breakfast included a superb array of fresh fruits and pastries. The dinner menu was well balanced and the Pork Secretos was the best I have eaten in Portugal. We are keen bird watchers and photographers and counted over 30 species of birds viewed from outside our room and walking the attached fields. All the staff attended us efficiently and politely, and on the basis of all my comments have already decided to return next May
