Currently doing renovations so main lobby closed and used small entrance. Booked room with balcony but unfortunately it rained during the day before we got there and the chair pillows were left out to get soaked. Finally dried out by morning but made the balcony less appealing. Nice room, big bed and great TV. No parking (and valet parking is $45/night which seems excessive). No room service but plenty of great restaurants 4 minutes away on foot. Highly recommend "Elizabeth" around the corner on Wharf Street.

I am sorry that Maine weather didnt cooperate and you were not able to enjoy the balcony. I am also sorry that the cost of parking negatively affected your experience. Parking in downtown Portland is a very sore subject for visitors and residents alike. As it is, we take a loss on parking to spare our guests some of the expense. The public parking garage right next door charges an obscene $70 overnight. Regardless, we completely understand the sticker shock for visitors not expecting Portland prices. If your future travels return you to the Portland area, we hope you will choose to stay with us again.
