Sarova Shaba offered a unique and delightful experience. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the food was good, and the location is unmatched, right on the river. I was there for a business meeting and the conference rooms with giant windows to the ponds were particularly lovely. What really makes Sarova special is the staff. A special thank you to Bernard the bartender and Nancy from guest services who made me smile everyday and made the experience that much better. Thank you for a very memorable stay! ps. The only downside I could think of for the lodge was the lack of AC throughout. That said, the team was responsive in accommodating requests for ice buckets, extra fans, and top sheets to make my stay more comfortable.
